Survival Trails
Privacy Notice
Last updated 24 September 2026. This notice covers mc.keeep.app, its owner studio, free scenario downloads, future purchases and community links. The website does not monitor gameplay on your own Minecraft server.
1. Controller and contact
Boris Shkolnikov, a UK sole trader, controls data used by this website. For privacy requests, write to 13 Kyrle Road, London, SW11 6BD, United Kingdom or email shk.boris.uk@gmail.com.
2. What we collect and where it comes from
- Studio settings: your scenario profile, timing and reward configuration are stored in your browser. A package request sends those settings to the server to make a download; the website does not store a library of your server configurations.
- Technical and trial information: network address during a request, short-lived download-grant proof, an anonymous cookie, hashed references, event name, date, environment and acquisition category. These come from your browser and our server.
- Future purchase information: if checkout opens, Stripe payment references and access status. Stripe collects card data; we do not receive full card numbers.
- Optional analytics: if configured and allowed, page visits and limited product events, not reward commands, server secrets or gameplay data.
- Community: if an invite is configured and you choose to follow it, Discord operates the destination under its own privacy policy. We do not embed or collect Discord messages through this website.
3. Why we process it
- Generate and deliver a requested beta package or future purchase: steps requested before a contract or performance of a contract.
- Protect downloads, prevent abuse, diagnose problems and measure whether the offer works: our legitimate interests in a secure, reliable service.
- Keep legally required transaction records if sales open: legal obligation. Optional Google Analytics, if enabled, relies on your consent.
We do not sell visitor data, add beta visitors to a marketing list or make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Browser storage and cookies
Studio settings stay in your browser until you clear this site's storage. A 60-second HTTP-only cookie pairs a one-time download grant with your browser. A separate HTTP-only lantern_anon cookie lasts up to 30 days when you request a download or send a visit signal; it helps deduplicate activity and enforce free-use controls. If checkout opens, owner/access cookies support purchase recovery and downloads.
Google Analytics is not enabled on this preview, so no analytics-consent control is shown.
5. Sharing and international processing
Amazon Web Services hosts the site and processes operational data. Stripe receives checkout data only if payments open. Google receives optional analytics only if configured and consented to. Choosing a Discord invite takes you to a separate service; see its notice before joining. We may disclose data where law requires it. We do not send your studio configuration to Discord.
The web application is hosted in AWS's London region, but infrastructure operations or provider support may involve access outside the UK. International destination and safeguard details for future payment and analytics flows remain under review; those flows are disabled in this preview. Contact us for information relevant to your data.
6. Retention
- Studio settings: stay on your device until you clear site storage. Download-grant proof expires after 60 seconds in memory; the anonymous cookie expires after up to 30 days.
- Evidence records: the database stores event names, timestamps, classifications and hashed anonymous or provider references. It currently has no automatic deletion period. Clearing the cookie does not delete old evidence rows.
- Logs, backups and future payments: verified deletion schedules are not yet in place. Sales remain closed while these and provider arrangements are reviewed.
The absence of an automatic expiry is disclosed, not endorsed as permanent retention. Ask us to review or delete identifiable information where applicable.
7. Children and server owners
Minecraft may be used by children. This beta is for people who own or administer a compatible server; please do not put player names, contact details or other personal information into reward commands or public community posts. We do not collect player gameplay through this website. A child or parent can use the privacy contact above. Before wider promotion, we must assess whether and how the UK's Children's code applies and adjust privacy-by-default design where needed.
8. Security, choices and rights
We use HTTPS, short-lived download grants, request limits and restricted access to server records. No online service is risk-free. You can browse without setting up a server package, clear browser settings and decline optional analytics if it becomes available. Settings are needed to build a customised package.
Depending on the processing, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. You may withdraw analytics consent, if applicable, without affecting earlier processing. We may verify identity before disclosing data. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
We will update this notice when processing changes. See Terms and Community / help.
